让步状语从句表示“虽然”“尽管”“即使”等，通常可用though, although, if, even though(if), when, while, whereas, granting that, granted that, admitting (that), for all (that), in spite of the fact等引导。如：

They are generous although they are poor. 虽然穷他们却很大方。

Though we axe poor. we are still happy. 我们虽然穷，仍然很快活。

If he is little, he is strong. 他人虽小，但很壮。
