▲be angry about 为……生气
The teacher was rather angry at what you said. 老师对你说的话相当生气。
The man was angry at being kept waiting. 这个人因别人让他久等而很恼火。
My sister was angry about missing the film. 没看上那部电影我妹妹很气恼。
【注】表示对某事生气，可说be angry about，也可说be angry at，其区别为：介词 at 后接某人之言行，而 about 之后接某事， 但这种区别并不十分严格，两者有时可换用。但是，表示对某事生气，通常不能用介词 with。
▲be anxious about 为……担心（担忧）
I’m very anxious about him. 我很为他担心。
He was anxious about her absence. 他担心她不来。
▲be careless about 对……不注意（粗心）
He’s careless about his appearance. 他不修边幅。
She’s careless about the consequences. 他不顾后果。
▲be cautious about 对……谨慎（仔细）
He is cautious about spending money. 他用钱仔细。
She is cautious about giving offence to others. 她注意不得罪人。
▲be certain about 对……有把握（自信）
He’s certain of success. 他自信会成功。
Are you certain about that? 你对此有把握吗?
▲be concerned about 为……担心；关心，关注
We are very much concerned about his health. 我们十分担心他的健康。
I’m concerned about whether he has signed the contract. 我很关心他是否在合同上签了字。
▲be curious about 对……好奇（想知道）
Children are curious about everything. 儿童对什么都感到好奇。
Don’t be too curious about things you’re not supposed to know. 对于你不该知道的事情不要过多去打听。
▲be disappointed about 对……感到失望
She was very disappointed about losing the race. 她输了这场比赛，感到很失望。
He must be very disappointed about your exam results. 他对你的考试成绩一定非常失望。
【注】disappointed后可接多个介词，其区别大致为：表示对某人感到失望，一般用介词 with 或 in；表示对某一行为感到失望，一般用介词 at 或about；表示对某一事实或情况感到失望，一般用介词 with, at或in。
▲be doubtful about 对……感到怀疑
He was doubtful about her story. 他对她的话表示怀疑。
We are doubtful about the weather for tomorrow. 我们对明天的天气没有把握。
▲be excited about 因……而兴奋（激动)
What are you so excited about? 你为什么如此兴奋？
It’s nothing to get excited about. 这没有什么值得兴奋的。
▲be glad about 对……感到高兴
He is glad about my new job. 他为我的新工作感到高兴。
My aunt was very glad about my arrival. 姨妈对我的到来感到很高兴。
▲be happy about 对……感到高兴
He is happy about his promotion. 他得到提升，感到很高兴。
We are happy about his letter. 收到他的来信我们很高兴。

He is absolutely hopeful about the future. 他对前途非常乐观。

▲be mad about 狂热地迷恋，对……很热衷
She was mad about the stage. 她狂热地迷恋舞台生活。
He’s mad about football. 他对足球着了迷。
▲be nervous about 对……感到紧张（害怕）
We’re nervous about [of] our first trip abroad. 我们对初次出国旅行感到很紧张。
He’s nervous about [of] staying alone at night. 他害怕晚上一个人待着。
▲be particular about 对……讲究
She is very particular about appearance. 她很讲究外表。
She is very particular about what she wears. 她对衣着很讲究。
