动词+ it + that从句(例句均出处词典)
■在通常情况下，及物动词后接that从句时，其间是不能用形式宾语it的，如：
The police learned that he wasn’t there at that time. 警察获知他那时不在场。
He realized that she too was exhausted. 他意识到她也精疲力尽。
He answered that he knew nothing about it. 他回答说他不知情。
She complained that the exam was too hard. 她抱怨考试太难。
He asked that he be given an opportunity to explain his case. 他请求给他机会解释他的情况。
They demanded that the right to vote be given to every adult man. 他们要求每个成年人都应有选举权。
■但有几个动词是例外，它们是like, have, take, put等。如：
like it that… 很高兴……
I like it that you came. 你来了，我很高兴。
We like it that you can lend us the money. 很高兴，你能借钱给我们。
have it that… 据说……；据闻……
Legend has it that Wu Sung is buried at Hangzhou. 传说武松葬在杭州。
Report has it that the Smiths are leaving town. 有传言说史密斯一家要离开这座城市。
Rumor has it that the defence minister will soon resign. 据传闻，国防部长不久就要辞职。
Rumour has it that we’ll have a new manager soon. 据说我们不久就要来一位新经理。
put it that… 理解为……；可以说是……
You can put it that it was arranged before. 你可以说这是以前安排的。
take it that… 假定……；猜想……；认为……
I take it you have been out. 我猜你刚出去回来。
I take it that he will come on time. 我认为他会准时来的。
I take it that we are to leave early. 我想我们动身会很早的。
I take it that you won’t be working tomorrow. 我觉得你明天不会工作了。
I take it you won’t be coming to Sophie’s party. 我想你不会去参加索菲家的聚会。
Are we to take it that you refuse to co-operate? 我们是否可以认为你拒绝合作?
I take it that’s that we’ve heard your final offer? 我看就这样了——我们已经了解到你们出的最高价了吧?
