be sorry to do与be sorry to have done用法的区别
1. 表示将要发生的情况
表示将要发生的情况时，只能用 be sorry to do sth，不能用 be sorry to have done sth。如：
I’m sorry to disappoint you, but we can’t go. 很抱歉让你失望了，我们不能去。
I’m sorry to say that I won’t be able to accept the job. 很遗憾，我不能接受这工作。
I’m sorry to trouble you, but could you open the door for me? 对不起，麻烦你一下，你能帮我把门打开吗？
I’m sorry to bother you, but could you tell me the way to the station? 对不起打扰一下，请问去车站怎么走?
We received your communication of 11th March and are sorry to inform you that we won’t be attending the conference. 我们收到了贵方3月11日的来函，但很遗憾地通知你们，我们不能出席会议。
2. 表示已经发生的情况
表示已经发生的情况时，既可用 be sorry to do sth，也可用 be sorry to have done sth。如：
(1) 用 be sorry to do sth的例子：
I’m very sorry to keep you waiting. 对不起，让你久等了。
I was sorry to hear of your accident. 获悉你遇到了意外, 我很难过。
We were sorry to miss your concert. 我们很遗憾没有去听你的音乐会。
(2) 用 be sorry to have done sth的例子：
I’m sorry to have incurred his anger. 我很抱歉惹他生气了。
I’m terribly sorry to have kept you waiting. 很抱歉，让你久等了。
I’m sorry to have put you to all this bother. 真抱歉给你添了这么多的麻烦。
In the letter Annie said she was sorry to have run off without a word, but that she was happy with her marriage and work. 在信里安妮为自己不辞而别表示抱歉，但她说她的婚姻生活愉快，工作也顺利。
3. 后接for [about] doing sth
若后接for [about] doing sth，则通常表示对已发生的动作表示遗憾。如：
I’m sorry for making such a fuss. 我这样大发脾气，真是不好意思。
I’m sorry for giving you so much trouble. 对不起，给你添了很多麻烦。
He wasn’t sorry for hitting the other boy. 他打了另外一个男孩，居然毫无悔意。
I’m sorry about breaking the vase—it was an accident. 对不起，我把花瓶打碎了——这是个意外。
He says he’s really sorry for taking the car without asking. 他没打招呼就用了车，他说他为此感到非常抱歉。
若要强调动作已经完成，也可动名词的完成式。如：
I’m sorry for having wasted your time. 我很抱歉浪费了你的时间。
