英语并列连词基本用法
并列连词是指用于连接并列的单词、短语、从句或句子的词，主要的并列连词有and, but, or, for, both…and, either…or, neither…nor, not only…but also等。如：
He shut his eyes and tried to sleep. 他闭上眼睛打算睡觉。
He drank beer, and it made him fat. 他喝啤酒，因此发胖了。
He is rich but not happy. 他虽然有钱，但并不快乐。
To say is one thing, but to do is another. 说是一回事，做是另一回事。
Ask me again in three or four days. 过三四天再来问我。
Are you a native here, or just a visitor? 你是本地人还是游客?
Drop that gun, or I’ll shoot you. 放下枪，不然我就打死你。
